| Other Info | Cover: $5 http://www.myspace.com/keylimespecial  Based out of Rochester, MN, Key Lime special consists of five members playing in their new wave reggae style. Beginning with Dan Thompson on bass, Garrett Kolb on drums, and brother Logan on guitar, they began their search to expand their sound. It came unexpected when Tyler Kispert just happened to open up for them at a show at Kathy’s Pub, playing similar covers of Sublime and The Band and winning over the crowded bar with his guitar play and his outstanding singing. He joined the guys for the after party celebration and has been with the band since. Zach Kase later joined in on the keys to complete the Key Lime Special sound. All five members bring various music influences, ranging from the punk rock sound of Rancid to the roots-reggae of Bob Marley, which all come together to form the Key Lime Special sound... a little rock and a little reggae. The band's debut album, 'Here To Stay' will be released early 2010 for all to experience. |
